We've had an exceptionally colourful fall this year (2008) and the leaves have been spectacular in the diversity of their reds and yellows. In fact, even the Big Leaf Maples, which often do nothing more than fade into a dull brown, have turned a bright yellow-orange on a lot of the trees.
